Just rebuilt MacGuru Consulting from the ground up and we’re pretty excited with the results. The new site sits atop a super custom WordPress build and follows them fresh and clean flat UI styles.
MacGuru Consulting is a Los Angeles-based company providing personalized, one-on-one training, support and consultation for the complete cast of Apple products. Run by Sean Graham, who previously worked as a composer for Hans Zimmer’s Media Ventures, we have a lot of love for anyone with the courage to strike out on their own. We also appreciate how important a website is to a small business (especially in the tech field), so redesigning Sean’s online story was a whole heart affair.
MacGuru Consulting V1
When building v1 of MacGuru Consulting, responsive design was just starting to catch on. So, despite using a modified version of Foundation’s grid system (I actually like the syntax), version 2 is a head to toe handcrafted effort,
To get people excited about Sean and his business, we employed a variety of subtle animations, full wrapper images, fixed and faded backgrounds, and enhanced scroll events. The same attention to detail was given to every element on every page, from desktop down to mobile. The idea is to keep users engaged so their inspired to explore further and learn more about Sean’s top notch offerings.
